  3. No heater is really reliable. That's why most people have or eventually end up with a controller. Set the controller at 78 and the heater at 80, for example, for redundancy and extra reliability.

It sounds like the thermostat failed or was set wrong on the heater. I recommend getting a RKL or some other controller as soon as you are able to prevent this sort of accident from reoccuring. It happened to me when I started too. I never got to buying the controller till I had a tank at 90 degreed all of the sudden one day. I would never run a tank withut a controller now.

  7. what are you saying, you have a brand new aqualifter holder or you have a brand new aqualifter pump your trying to sell.

hah.. thanks.,. i just i misreading.. hah i only has aqualifter pump.. haha not holder.. he can use double tape and it should be work fine.. like i used it on my old aqalifter pump..

  8. Justin, I feel that hole in the head is often brought on by water quality issues and nutritional issues, compounded by stress. How big is this fish and what is its diet? How long has this been developing and what is the quality of the water? If it developed this in the 10 gallon, that's probably a big reason why it developed it in the first place.

I have had fish with hole in the head that recovered when I improved overall water quality and also improved diet (plenty of nori with vitamins helped out a great deal).

A guy from Wammas give me for free.. He was sick ..before he has velvet .. And start has hole in head only 2 .. But I don't Wy since I change food .. It grow up more.. I think u are rite.. Maybe I let him eat seafood( scallost, shrimp cod, etc...) he was my 120 gallons .. Now I move him to my qt tank which 10 gallons.. He was doing good..and now hold in head grow up more.. Huh..

  11. Justin, will you be keeping the frag rack and the frags in your main display tank?

Regardless, Blue Ribbon Koi (we frequently call them BRK here) in Manassas will have glue, racks, and plugs that can be used here. They're really not that far from you. If you've not been there yet, you should go and take a look. You won't be disappointed. If you don't know how to mount a coral to a plug, then ask someone to demonstrate for you. I'm sure that you'll get some help.

By the way, BRK is having an open house this Saturday. Drop in and introduce yourself.

I'm going to send you an email, too, that you may be interested in.

thanks I saw ur emaill. Thank for that.. but only work on Saturday.. I will try go their early before work.. I keep all frag in my main tank.. 46 gallonw bow front..

So do i need to take out some water from tank and glue racks with supper glue or silicon??? any idea.. but i will try go to bkb to get some help.. thanks
