  1. Why should going to the source, hurt the chances of picking up something nice at MrCoral? After "angel not fish"s dismay, you continue to ask them why they didn't order online. What does that matter? Are you an internet only retailer?
  2. No. Honestly, he looks fantastic. He's just swimming at the top.
  3. I have had my Yellow Watchman for a few months now and have never seen this behavior. Usually, a full day, for him, consists of watching out for predators while the Pistol Shrimp works on the burrows. But, this morning, he is swimming strongly against the current at the top of the tank. Is this strange behavior for a Watchman? Is he dying? Is he trying to view his surroundings? If anybody has an ideas or experience with something like this, I would love to hear from you.

    Yep

  5. Ps: Coast to Coast Customs (out of NJ) were pretty terrible to me, on the phone, just now. Just an FYI if anyone goes looking for a builder. Steer clear of this place.
  6. Thanks, Chad. I hadn't thought of some of those I will take all of your reasons into account on the build.
  7. Coralhind: I was thinking acrylic. I sent an e-mail to NAGA and am awaiting a response. As for Miracles, the person to discuss tanks with is "in a meeting" and will have to call me back. Has anybody heard of place the "reef ready" portion of the tank in the exact center of the tank? I want to try to do this. I am just not sure it is possible.
  8. We have an idea for a future tank but it is hexagonal and would need some custom specifications. If anyone knows someone who can do this, please let me know!
  9. There is a picture quota? I didn't know this. I have more pictures. How to I post them?
  10. I wanted to kill two birds with one stone. 1. Get tank shots up here. 2. Test out camera on iPhone Here is the result!
  11. It seems that salts are solely based on opinions and individual targets. But, I started with, and have been using, NeoMarine for about 6 months now. My reef loves it, so I love it. From the water I tested in the Caribbean, this salt matched the best, IMO. In the Caribbean, I found... Temp at 83 degrees Salinity at 34 ppt Calcium around 405-410 ppm pH at 8.2 Alk at 7.5 dKH Mg at 1283 ppm Reef Crystals boast a calcium level of 450 ppm. That is good for some individuals, but I want my water to be as close to natural as possible. Again, salts are a preference and are based on opinions and individual targets. These are my findings and my preferences. My advice is to find a salt that meets your preferences and targets, and be consistent with that salt.
  12. You see, the problem is that everyone has been hearing mixed things about Mr. Coral. So, the comparison photos are probably just as important to the rest of us, as they are to Hypertech. My future business with Mr. Coral is waiting on these pictures. Thank you, Hypertech, for making this thread.
