  1. Thanks for all the reply's. Complete Set-up has been sold.
  2. I am located in Sterling Va. The tank and light was purchased used, so not sure of the age, but in excellent condition. The sump was made by Jeff, and purchased a year ago. The pump (reeflow) was purchased the same time as the sump, so a year old. Added uv 8 months ago. Reactor was purchased from a WAMAS posting 8 months ago. The Evolution's were added/replaced in October. Some of the livestock was moved from prior tank so no older than 2 years. Hope that helps. Will add more details if needed.

  4. Point well take, as I am still in the planning stage so that can be incorporated. 1000 gph is an estimate, and might be over kill, but it never fails that I never seem to get the flow that I was expecting. Have heard great things about the Eheim, very quiet, but seem to lack the flow, and I don't want to run 2. Thanks for the input.
  5. Thanks for the link. Actually, I have been looking at the reeflo's, but very confusing as to, dart or snapper (which I guess is the same pump, but a part change) or go for the gold snapper. just really want it reliable and quiet.
  6. I am working on a 150 (60*24*24) and need some recommendations for a return pump that will meet the following requirements. Or a web site that helps calculate flows. 1.) external 2.) Quiet, very quiet would be better 3.) reasonable priced. 4.) ability to throttle back if necessary 5.) Efficient Was thinking of trying for 1000 gph, at the nozzles of the returns. Which there are 2 of. Plumbing details: Twin returns,
  7. PM Sent.
  8. I have an issue with it is too easy to take time to post a negative experience, than a positive experience, see it all the time. Than if you look back and follow the post: ie: looking for snails, than a,mechant post, who is looking, I have them, than I bought snails and they are bad, not exact quotes, but you get the just of it. It casts a shadow of a doubt, by the original poster. If you have a problem, like I said to start with, contact merchant, try a fair reasonable resolution, than post your experience. And tell the name, the truth will not hurt, actually, I remember hearing someone saying the truth will set you free. Dennis
  9. I still stand by my statement, call the merchant first, ask for a solution, than make your post. Because you have made everyone look at past post as to who it could have been. Regardless who it might have been, you have created a doubt..... the power of the internet, get real bold because it is only a keyboard, and not face to face. Hope everything works out for you. Dennis
  10. Well, first of all, you never gave the store a chance to right the situation, before you blasted them on the net. That is WRONG... end of sentence period.... As a consumer, you need to call the merchant directly and voice your dissatisfaction... ask for a resolution that is fair to both parties, than voice your experience here. Good, bad,or indifferent. Not come on a forum and play the ...... " I should have known better card"...... Because it's not to hard to figure out the merchant. [deleted by Mod] Dennis
