There is no one local. Closest is coast to coast in NJ or planet aquarium in Texas I think. Then miracles in Canada. And glass cages depending on size.
thanks, let see what Coast to Coast has. maybe glass cages too

For a large tank!

Any recommendation? Local is best…

I had one in with some LPS. Leather, Frogspawn, and some zoas/paly. Was okay. But was it was just a few, 2/3 pieces. But I wouldn’t do it in my full reef.

@hlem Working well? Do you run DSB and Refugium? If not how are you maintaining water quality and organics?
hey mark,I don’t have a dsb, just lots of live rocks, a few Marine pure blocks, and no refug, and weekly/biweekly wc depending if I’m lazy or not. But the tank is established for more than 4 years. That’s about it. Auto feeder 4 times a day and manual feed randomly.

I have a skimmerless nem tank with some zoas and soft corals and about 5 fish, larger ones too.

Harliquin tusk would be a good option. Maybe an emperor snapper?
Onu trigger is a cool all black fish
Mineautis grouper is a cool spotted redish orange fish
I had a Harly Tusk. One of my fav...
If i do a FOWLR tank. It would be all kind of triggers and large angels.

I use the Ecotech ones. Its really good, strong flow and easy to control with the app. BUTTT you have to really keep it clean and maintain it well.

My BTA nem collection
Your every day Rainbow
Hard to come by Acid Washed
No "lineage" Sunburst (Came from Colorado, was told it came from the same importer/vendor but seller didnt claim it's CSB )
-
All nems below are said to be NOT your regular RBTA, name in the "...burst" type. I have lots of RBTA, and indeed these does not look like my RBTA. Thoughts?

every coral consumes a different amount of nutrients in different ratios.
the calcium reactor only provides nutrients in 1 ratio. that ratio is based on the media used.
if the corals in your tank are not using the same ratio of nutrients as what the calcium reactor is providing, it will cause an imbalance.
you will have to manually dose to fix this imbalance.
I see, why can’t you increase/decrease the amount dripping from the calRX? Isn’t that the same as dosing?

but you are still limited to the ratio of the media which still can cause an imbalance.
No clue what you’re talking about

This CalRX here is supposed to be super easy to adjust. but its $$$$

Awesome. Looks like it’ll be a very cool tank. Go check out Supreme Reef. He has a nice display with lots of smaller fish like what you’re planning.
how long to keep a powder blue tang in jail?
in General Discussion
I would not risk it in a 90. Powder blue and Powder brown are the same, one will most likely kill the other, and they’re really prone to getting ich which will effect everything else in the tank.
