for the rookie here....... what is rtn/stn?
-
I have used a lot of 'juice' in the past. Has always killed the Aptasia. I use 1/2 to 1 bottle at a time. Seems to have some effect on the rbta and other softies though. although for just a short period. I also gave it to a few of my mushrooms. Should I be worried about 'too much dead stuff at once'? If it does kill the schrooms. I bought 3 nudi branches (sp) from TMS tonight. As always, Melissa and all the staff were great. I only killed the big aptasia :-)
Thanks for the info

Sure do........ here are the names = tell me what the fish are way too easy........
Princess

Tuskie
fox
thing 1 and thing 2

you have to have some kind of name to relate a fish to the Mrs............
-
I think you should sell it to the deer hunter :-)
-

My year is up next week. How do I pay for another year? Thanks

Sam, enjoy your eel. I had one for 2 years and had a great time. He did take a fish or 2 :-) I got to see him wrestle a 2" in clown.......... Was worth the money lost on the clown :-) It was a 5 minute fight. Moved most everything in the tank. I got rid of mine once I started getting a lot of coral. The eel will move, break, destroy most things that can be moved or broken :-( If I can find a little snowflake, I may get one for my 20 Gallon tall. I strongly suggest you cover the tank. and, of course, to keep the eel in cuts down on the light for the coral......... always something :-) PS To get my 24" eel out of the tank. I used a fish hook and line tied to a toothbrush. I wish I had a video of that :-)

I agree Dave - circle of life et al............

OK, so I 'was' skeptical. Todd PM'd me with " I found a magnificent Foxface" if you are still looking. He saw my post from months ago :-) So, I said, sure. get that boy in here for me. He did. I picked it up Saturday. All is great. Todd has a 'house out back' that is currently his store :-) I didn't know I was going to his house, so when the Mapquest directions had me in front of a house, I called him. and mapquest did not let me down either. Todd is very service oriented and has very reasonable prices. I will be back for a special order or piece of coral :-) It is also a beautiful drive this time of year. Check out his site.

very cool - I will bring a case of beer to the open house :-)

I don't :-) tested before fuge and 2 weeks after fuge install......... everything was good. haven't tested once since - just call me a lucky reefer - lol ( and I have a little of everything in the tank)
-
a cooler full of plastic bags/tupperware or a few grocery bags - no difference to me :-) No dogs or open bottles.

Maybe from Ashburn or sterling area? Shoot, even if it is just to the Vienna metro :-)

How about - Wayne's purple tipped antlers? ( it is almost hunting season :-)
-
So, I install this puppy, check everything 3 times, turn the water on - all is well. Then I lift the float to test the water shutting off, and the check valve is leaking all over the place........ ( membrane end) Any ideas? I can not run it w/o the check valve since I had to cut the line to install the check valve and I do not have a complete line w/o the check valve ( no fittings). I would think that if the ASO was working, there would be very little/if any pressure on the check valve.......... Spectrapure and I are not best of friends tonite :-0
-
OK That sounds good Rob, but of course, it can never be that simple for me. It is attached to a rock that isn't coming out of the tank :-(
-
So, I have never removed a rbta from a rock before. Any advice, guidance you can give is greatly appreciated.
-
If Sean can't get one for me, who/where/what would 'you' use to get a Magnificent Foxface?
I have never bought anything 'live' online, but would consider it for this fish..............
I haven't bought 'anything' online since the LFS discussion of AQUACO closing the store.
( I don't count Nadir as on-line - lol) he is a sponsor, etc
