I have a Generac 20Kw. auto on and switch over. I live on top of the Blue Ridge and lose power often. This generator is about 83 amp and my electrician would not put on any extra amps even tho I told him we would 'never' run everything on the generator at the same time :-) My well pump, gas furnace, freezer, kitchen, master bath and part of the LR is on it. The generator is around 5K with the transfer switch. Install was 1200. I am very happy with it. I got it a Tractor supply for the same price as online. Extended warranty from TSC was a few hundred dollars. Good Luck. It runs on Propane. I highly recommend propane over any fossil fuel from a maintenance/storage perspective.

looks great Jan. Did bazooka make it?
-
-
Fantastic - picture of the baby? :-)
-
Doesn't sound like Bazooka........ Is Bazooka still firing? :-)
-
Jason, with all this planning you may not have the fun of doing things twice - LOL
-
I have a CPR 19inch wide hob fuge with light and pump for 75. I work in Reston. I doubt if you ever make it to Purcellville.
-
They are both fine. Tomle has them :-)
-
buy mine for 30 :-) I got it from Nadir and have only had it for a few months
-
Thanks, Chip
-
it has split on its own in the past :-) I guess if the 'mouth' got split/ripped and each side has a piece......... will be interesting
-
good reaction Hunter. and of course, glad everything is OK. I have a nice heater from Nadir for sale :-) ( shoot, you can have it)
-
so I was taking corals off the rocks and picked up the rock the rose was attached to, but........ it was also attached to another rock. The rose ripped in half. doh
any chance it will heal from a rip?
Thanks
-
check out my 90 for sale. I may have sold the rock and fish. The light, tank, stand, sump, sand, skimmer, refrugium, heater and a few corals for 600.............

a reliable top off set up is key! Maybe I can make it out your way some day and help you figure it out!
Hey, I will take you up on that after we move :-) Looking to go back to Sterling next spring.
-
man, when I move, I have to figure out how to get the r/o output line to the bucket of water that feeds the kalk stirrer :(
Hunter makes it look so easy :-)
-
really great. I am having problems with my T 5 fixture and the wave point bulbs. I may have to upgrade. What light are you running, Hunter?
Thanks

so, the Pres, Mr Doug, rated himself pretty low :-(
-
well, the Tees you 'rightfully' told me to use but it made the tank too far from the wall so I removed them :-) I assume it was to 'vent' the return after it went thru the bulk head
-
Sean, where are your 'Ts' on the returns? :-)
-
Between Doug telling me months ago that I need to start dosing and Sean working with me on test kits, etc, I finally tested for CA. The first test was 300 and the 2nd was 340, so I am way below the 410 to 420, I believe, I am shooting for. How fast should I raise it? I have some Tropic Marin Bio-Calcium that I can add by the spoonful.
Also, if I cant squeeze a kalk stirrer into the base area of my tank along with the fuge, should I just get rid of the fuge? I have my tank too close to the wall to hang the fuge where it belongs :-(
TIA

great job Sam. btw, i have a couple of screens my dogs have ruined. How many frags do you want to re-screen those frames? :-)

Jan,
I have a tank with just a blue spiney reef lobster. I am thinking it will be awhile before the 2 would dance? best man wins, etc? The lobster is about 4 inches long and mean............. Looks like a bazooka trade - lol what are you doing Saturday afternoon?
-
Looks great. I have a scripts(sp) green acro colony I got from Hunter as a SWAP. You are more than willing to have it :-) The Bazooka Dendro is spoken for LOL
