Thanks for the info guys. First thing I will do when I get home is remove those from my wavemaster. I did not know about the stop bar and it spinning in the wrong direction.

I have the same exact issue. I have 2 koralia 3's on the Red Sea wavemaster and could hear mine on the opposite floor of the house. What I found that helped was not to have them pointed to far down. The further down they were pointed the worse it was. It is happening because the impeller is jumping in and out of the unit when it is turned on by the wavemaker , gotta love magnetics. The impeller shaft needs to be just a little bit longer to not allow it to move back and forth like it does. Hopefully someone will come up with a mod to fix this issue. Just play around with the angle you have it at and it wont be so annoying,

This is where I got my Marineland 220 from , they are always running good specials on there tanks and generaly have larger ones instock.

They are definitly not what they used to be years ago. They have gone thru alot of owner/management changes. It has all in all be very dissapointing. The lack of proper knowledge is apparent by most of the staff. I have been by there several times after getting back into the hobby and they have one guy there who knows his stuff. Unfortunatly dealing with the other staff there is a bit ..... stressful... The last time I went there one of the staff stated to a customer that " I dont know why anyone would waste there time buying mushrooms , they just take over the tank , it is a waste of money. I am coninually throwing them in the trash from my tank , they are all over" .. The customer that was intested in buying the mushroom was looking at her dumbfoundedly after she made that comment to them. Funnest part was that he suggested that she sell them and/or give them to people who wanted them instead of killing them. It was funny to see the look on her face... She got mad and walked away.....
