  1. I was a member of WAMAS until 2009 when my wife and I moved to Saipan. When I first got here I began collecting nice pieces of dry rock from the beaches, but I have too much and no place to keep it so I wondered if anyone is interested in free dry rock (you pay shipping)? I will only send it via a large (which isn't very large 12x12x5.5) flat rate USPS Priority box. Because all other methods are either super expensive or go by boat and take 6 weeks. USPS Priority takes about 10-14 days (from here) and costs about $15.95. The box isn't very big so the pieces will not be super big. I will put in as much as I can and when its gone, its gone. I will email a picture of what I can fit into a box if anyone is interested and weigh the box so you'd know about how much you're getting. PM me for any other info, but keep in mind it is +14 hours from EST. so in a few minutes I'm headed to bed. Thanks Todd
  2. is diving in Saipan

  3. I have some Instant Ocean and Reef Crystals (probably enough for 160 gal. of water) that I would like to donate to anyone keeping some sort of tank at a school or other community location. I also have some marine books that I would like to give away. Thanks

  9. +1 Brian's comment. I had a Tang in QT that had ich and did the 6 week hypo treatment. No problems since. Wetwebmedia.com has lots of info on hypo treatment.
  10. glassholes.com has a link to many manufactures panel specs. Drilling larger tanks is very easy.
  11. At 10ft the Dart draws 146 watts and pumps 1520gph, from the chart on their website.
  12. I have calculated my head pressure at 10 ft, so if I read the chart correctly that pump should yield 1000gph and draw a little more than 75 watts. Is that high?
  13. If anyone needs a new pump, check out the Reeflo website. They are selling Blackfin pumps for as low as $195 for a 1800gph pump. I just bought one to replace my closed loop pump.
  14. The one piece which was 17 1/8"x 15" was about $15. I got glass for the one piece of my refugium that partitions my DSB from my pump return section, since I do not want that to fail. IMO the other baffles are water flow management and not as critical, so I used the acrylic.
  15. I bought some 1/4 inch glass from Manassas Glass. I called them with my measurements and picked it up an hour later, cut with polished edges. Glass baffles are nicer IMO, but not as big an issue in a 30 gal (mine is 75 gal so 18 inch wide, which is a problem with HD acrylic)
