I just broke the glass on a Fluval Flex 9 after hanging a Gen 5 XR15 on it. I set it up as a 2 day temp tank and split the entire back after two days. I felt it was too heavy but stupidly still hung it on there.

Very impressive, thanks for sharing.

Very Nice build
Love the Clownfish too

I use the Innovative Marine ATO tank. Very well built, I have mine under a stand but I don’t think it would look bad next to the display.

I have a 120 and 90 tied into the same sump. I have a Bashee sump that has a fuge and holds 3 filter socks that I was running. I also bought a Trigger Platinum 39 with Filter roller to use. I have since realized I hate using filter socks and wasn’t sure about the roller mat. I wound up selling the Trigger and pulling the Bashee and buying a 40 breeder. My only filtration at this point is my Skimmer and 120 watt UV. The Skimmer is in the sump and the UV is beside the tanks on a shelf. I do run carbon from time to time but the reactors are external as well. I didn’t add baffles to the 40 so flow through is fast a very little detritus builds up and the sump is very easy to clean now. I feel this is the best sump setup I have had so far. I could add a stand alone filter roller if needed but I don’t see that happening.

I have one in my 360,I believe you seen it when you and Rik came by. Its still doing great and constanlty hunting but also eats any frozen meaty food. Its a banded pipe.

Nice coral. One of my favorite shrooms.
Heres a bad pic of my colony from about six months ago.

Royal gramma
If you have nice caves they will hang under your structure upside down all day long. Pretty cool fish. I would add a nice bristle toothe tang rather than others. They stay smaller and they graze all day long.

I am in Md and very far from most of the events but I contnue to pay dues because I think this club is great. I dont know and havent met most of the members but I still chime in and get the help I need when I post. In fact I just sold my sps coral and had a way better turn out from WAMAS than my local club, as far as selling my corals. I think only a couple from my local club came through but many made the trip from this club. I think you cant go wrong with joining.

Yes that is from when I first put the coral in my tank. Feel free to use pics.

Dave, I was looking at your site and seen you had a pic of this goby and as unknown. Maybe these will help you get an id.
GOOD LUCK!

On my 360 I run an Iwaki md-40 rated at 1200 gph running though a Super squirt. It also tees off to feed my fuge. Dont know the exact with head loss and all but you get the idea.

I dip all new corals with Lugols. I just dump it in till water turns red and let it sit for 10-15 mins. I once forgot some zoas and they sat in it for over an hour with no ill effecs other than taking a little longer to open up. But for Kent Marine Lugols solution heres the correct way to do it.
In a seperate container add 40 drops of Lugols solution to a gallon of aquarium water and immerse coral for 10-15 minutes.
I like Kent lugols and reccomend it over normal Kent and other Iodines.

Very nice, angel and a trigger, any problems with either?

The dart has the desired gph but I'm pretty sure its not rated for pressure. Scwds are only 3/4" and really knock down flow as they use the water pressure to divert the water from one side to another.

I would use all 3 holes to feed the pump. You would be surprised at the suction they can have. Just return all lines over the top. As far as pumps go, I like the Sequence pumps. Maybe the dart but I do think they could handle the pressure of the squids. It would be nice in the future to get a Oceans motion 4 way to run your closed loop. Can you tee off your return to feed your fuge?

They are in my 360. All of them except the sailfin have been toghether for atleast 8 months, some longer.
-
Fish that is. Here is my crew, hope you enjoy, I sure do.

Dave, told ya #3 was something pretty special. Good luck with them and the goby has been fine and should be as long as you dont get a mate for it, they are bad for acros when they lay the eggs on them.

Eheim pumps are great.
I have also used many Mags internally and externally with great results.

14k M/H only. Untouched photos.

I was mine in the washing machine with a cup of bleach and doulble rinse followed by atleast a day of air drying also. I keep eight of them in circulation and change them every other day.
