  1. I ordered 4 bulbs from them and mine came in a bubble wrapped box inside of another box. Packing was very good and no issues at all. I am surprised that yours was so bad. Hopefully they can resolve it for you. I have 2 extra bulbs if you want them until yours come in. I won't need them until next year when I replace mine.

  2. I got my new Radiums today. WOW, what a difference from the XM 10K's. The XM's were great and I have gotten a lot of growth from them but I was looking for better color. The Radiums certainly do bring out the colors. I can't wait to see how things are going to look after a few months.

    Here are a few pics.

  3. I've really been wanting to try Radiums but I'm not sure how well my ballast will drive them. Has anyone run them on an ARO electronic ballast? Does anyone that runs Radiums now supplement them with VHO Actinics? Right now I am running 2 250W XM 10K bulbs with 4 VHO Actinics on my 110g and I'm worried that the ballasts won't run the Radiums bright enough and it will then make my tank look to blue.

    Any thoughts?

  4. The Flame and the Potters are in two different tanks. You can have more than one in a tank if the tank is big enough. When I first got the flame I also put in a Coral Beauty and they managed to get along okay. The Coral Beauty died quite some time ago and I never put another one in the tank.

    All pics were taken with my Nikon D80 with a 18mm-70mm VR lens.

  5. when ever you frag the one below the yellow tort (looks like a sarmentosa)

    and this one

    let me know.

    Is that my red table in some of those pics? Awesome growth

    That is a sarmentosa, it's green with orange tips. For some reason it has been a very slow grower for me. I have another one that is a little different color that has grown very well. I will let you know when I frag a piece though. The other coral you mentioned is yellow with purple tips and I have fragged it a couple of times.

    The red table is from Reefer Madness and I got it as a small one inch frag.

  6. Thanks everyone. The Potters is in my frag tank but the other pics are of my main tank. It is 110g tall. The Potters is not a very expensive fish but they can be difficult to keep. This one was pretty shy at first but it really didn't take long for it to start coming out. I think the main reason for that is that in the frag tank I only have a Scopias tang and a pair of B&W clowns so there isn't really anything to bother it. I actually put the Potters in less than a week ago.

  7. I picked up a beautiful Potters Angel from BRK and thought I post up some pics. He's in my frag tank now and doing great. I also just got a top down photo box so I thought I would take some new tank pics as well. Hope you like.....

  8. I have a Green Cap in my tank that is starting to take over everything in it's way. Does anyone have any ideas about how to keep it from taking over? I have trimmed it back several times but it has encrusted onto some rock and I need to get it off. Taking the rock out of the tank is not an option so I am looking for a way to either kill it off the rock or have something that can stop it from getting bigger and covering over some very nice arcos.

  9. I like the 4th one up from the bottom. The water hitting the rock making the big splash. The composition is great and the color is fantastic plus you captured the water splash, great pic. The sunset pics are also nice but the color is a little over done, IMHO. All of them at great pics though, very nice!
