Hey, sorry I know this is off topic but I have searched it and cant find the answer. I have both salt and freshwater tanks but was wondering that In a freshwater tank is DC tap water safe, as long as I use something like Prime or another dechlorinator?? Or should I stick with RODI? Or the waste water from a RODI unit? Thanks, Dell

Hey, Did Tropical Lagoon move? I drove by there this evening and I didnt see it in that little strip mall place on Georgia? It was always kind of hard to see off the street, but I didnt see it at all. The website still says it's in the same place it's always been. Thanks, Dell

Thanks Chris, Yeah, I been to Superpets, I went there looking for a pump part as they seem to have decent supply of filter replacement parts. I can see why people wouldn't recommend them, but they do have cb seahorses, but they were a bit over priced. They do have the new Oceanic nanocubes on sale though, if anyone is interested. The 24g cube was $100 cheaper then at Wally's, but I think it was a special sale and I dont know of its still going on that was about a week ago. Thanks re: the PE mysis. Its always nice to find a place alittle closer, even though I am always looking for an excuse to go to a fish store. Dell

Hey, Does anyone have any ideas on a sump for a 30 oceanic cube? The stand deminsions inside are 17L x 18W x 24H a standard 10g wont fit unless I cut the back and I dont want to do that. Yes I could use a rubber maid tub of some sort, but I was hoping someone might have an idea for something cheap and clear. A 5g is hardly worth it, but maybe a hex tank or something else. Arent hex tanks kinda pricey?? Any ideas!! Thanks, Dell

Hey, I am a new member (joined at the meeting on the 17th). Everybody was very nice and it was great talking with others just as obsessed. I am not new to the hobby,however, I have been out of it for a few years. I used to breed/raise Seahorses and I had a 58g reef, but when I moved cross country here 3 years ago I got out of the hobby when I lost all of my seahorses during the move :( . I set my tank back up when I arrived, but it was just never the same and eventually sold everything. I recently set up a 15g nano (same foot print as a 10g just 18inches tall) on the 10th of January. I put 20 lbs of cured LR and 1.5 inch sand bed. After all this babbling I guess my question is.... 2. question... 1. Does anyone have a 96w quad lighting system they are not using that I could buy? I know hellolights.com has them, but I was hoping that someone may want to sell one they already have? 2. I am debating a skimmer as well, and if anyone has a HOB type they wanted to sell I would be interested? Mainly I wanted to say hello and thanks for all the info I have found on this site, Dell
