check your iodine level, xenia will usually only pulse when the iodine levels in the water are at a respectable level.

try to find a time when a winter sport has practice and they will probably let you into the building to take care of business.

check out the woodcraft website for their fine polishing kit. it goes from 1,500 to 12,000 grit and should be great for getting rid of any blemishes.

if you do go with a canister, get an eheim 2260 large, and they clean like there is no tomorrow.

I have alway used black latex paint and a brush, it takes 6 or 7 coats put it dries to a nice hard finish and comes off easily with a few razor blades.

i used a ups on my nano , but none of my other tanks really need it. you can always attach a paddle bit to your drill if you need to put oxygen in your tank in an extreme situation.

if you want, you can crush it withe the edge of a razor blade.

you can always wrap the drip container in a towel or something similar, this should help maintain the temp pretty well.

not to sound like a jerk, but they both look fine to me.

leave lots of space in between as well as behind the rocks, it creates natural hiding spots and reduces fish stress.

this is why I don't go on vacation anymore, the last time I was gone my 75 sprung a leak. only problem was that I was 6-8 hours away.
