Plumbing the engine room: step 1

Here you see the heart of our two-tank system to be. We took an old 75g tank and made a sump with three compartments: left to right return from tank, refugium, bubble trap, return chamber.

The tank return pipes (two of them) come through the wall, as does the return. A mag 24 drives the return through an adjustable ball valve. We have T'd it and capped the other end of the T for future use for our kitchen tank, which will be on the right of this picture, on the other side of the wall.
