Keeping a Blue spot jawfish in tank/Lid

Hey, 

 

I have an IM Nuvo 40g.  I also have a BSJF who jumped through the stock mesh lid. I saw him jump but not from which he came, I don't know if it was the side gaps or clear mesh holes. Regardless he can get through the stock lid. Is the Artfully Acrylic top my best option to keep him in? Right now it is rigged with a piece of screen across the whole tank hanging over the sides with weights on it to hold it in place, but I don't want it like that long term. Any thoughts? I can't tell from the post and videos I've seen if the artfully tops cover the entire tank.

PS - I have seen the DIY lids but I'm not sure about those, that's why Im asking what you guys think
