I have nothing to lose, I am going to move mine over to where it has more flow and will watch for a couple days. jp This was a bad move. The elegance did not like being in my flow pattern, although it did eat, there was little to no extension. VA reefman had one about that size that he accidentally fragged once and both peices survived many years, but there is no guarantee.
