Tom789 April 21, 2023 Share April 21, 2023 Good Evening, I’m seeing some weird behavior in my aquarium. Have a 70ish gallon tank with a male female ocellaris pair that has been together for 10ish years. I noticed him swimming in to corner of aquarium. The female is being incredibly aggressive towards him. I notice he has some beat up fins now. Totally weird behavior never seen before in all the time I’ve had them. They have never spawned to my knowledge. Any help or advice is appreciated. thanks, Tom
ReefdUp April 22, 2023 Share April 22, 2023 I can't speak to the behavior itself, sorry. However, whenever I have an aggressive fish, I put a mirror alongside the tank wall. I've had fish-after-fish take out aggression there instead of on other fish, especially when paired for low light for a day or two plus an extra feeding. That doesn't work for everyone, but it may help.
