Gman91 October 6, 2006 Share October 6, 2006 i have a piece of live rock in one of my tank, that is covered with about 9 feather dusters. the problem is that the rock is only 2 inches long. I was wondering if there was a way to remove these tiny dusters, and transplant them to other rocks, without damaging them. I ahve done this before, but it was with feather duster the size of a baseball.any tips would be great.
HowardofNOVA October 6, 2006 Share October 6, 2006 Gman I'm guessing with 9 of them on a 2" rock your talking about what I call sump dusters? Question #1 why? Q#2 because they are so fragile why not just put the rock beside what you want them to migrate too? Either way if you have a knife point to pry off the rock that should work. Hope to see you at the 14Oct meeting and join us soon? Have fun!
