Fairly extensive, but to what degree is hard to tell. Tank was on the main floor. Leaked down through the floor and was coming out of the fixture housings in my basement. There are a few random water spots on my ceiling in the basement. Seeped outside of the top of my basement door, where the concrete meets the wood foundation. On the bright side, my house isn't completely leveled, and most of it stayed on one side of the basement and made its way outside. Not all of it, im sure.

So my tank just busted a seam while I was at work...... ... now I have no idea what to do with everything that was in there. I saved as much as I could in a brute can. But I have no other tank,.... sad day.. 2.5 years invested. Down the drain just like that

I do find it difficult to be honest, and I'm never really quite happy with it. It's the one thing in my tank that I think about on a regular basis of how to make it better. The center overflow is the problem area. makes it awkward. I think the setup I currently have is a bit overkill. 2x gryes and 2x sow 8s. One of each on either side of the overflow. I only run them about 50% though, good in some areas but not others. Stepping up any higher than that just seems to be too much flow.

Thanks! Yeah, very true, and one good way to look at it lolLooking good! When you run out of room for coral, you're doing something right!

Updating progress: still chugging along. Wish I would have given myself more rock surface space to work with. Already getting tight on the top rocks.

I'm just updating with a few pics. Things are still chugging along.

Do you guys quarantine your fish at all? Or treat for diseases/pests?

Rainbow Monti next to the hammer. The hammer was from my 15g tank which I fragged and stuck in there.

Ok, had to turn the blue completely off to get a decent picture of things. And don't mind the wily nilly placement of the frags lol I don't have a frag rack so I'm seeing were they are happy at before making there home. Having no blues on though just doesn't do them justice. With that being said, here you go

I am, in fact I just got two shipments in from WWC , about 10 or so sps corals. And about 5 lps corals. All nice pieces. I'll have to get a phone filter to really get some good pictures of things. Coraline is starting to come in pretty strong, so tank was ready for some corals.Looks awesome. Are you planning on doing an SPS dominated tank? Fingers crossed you say yes!

Here's the inside of the cabinet after a little clean up. Still more to do. Going to be putting a dosing pump in there as well. Possibly fit the dosing containers as well.

Got the equipment cabinet in! I'll show the inside once it's all organized.

Got the sump swapped out, and that was a chore! But worth it. Finished building the cabinet and painting now. I plan on straightening things up once I get the cabinet in.

20g long came out pretty good. Will be swapping then out this weekend. Also, started building a equipment cabinet for a small area beside the tank.

Update: the tank is had Cycled btw. Got the first fish in a couple weeks ago, yellow tang. Got an icecap 2k gyro pump to replace the jabao, will be getting a second 2k pump in the near future. Went ahead and bit the bullet and bought a 20g long to replace the 29g long sump since it's just too tall. Ordered a baffle kit for the new sump as well. New sump should come out pretty nice when done.

Yeah kind of. Going to play it by ear mostly. I'm fairly new to saltwater but the goal is a mixed reef. Depending how good I am at it lol. It's just the sps corals I'm worried about since they are a bit more sensitive. Fish wise, I've got a yellow tang in the tank now. And I have a Scopus and powder blue tang in quarantine, and that will be it for the tang gang. Will likely put a wrasse or two in there at some point. Would like a goby and shrimp bonded pair as well. And maybe a small school of chromis. That's as far as I got really.About a month in and already wet! Progressing pretty quickly. Give much thought to what fish (and corals) you’ll be putting in there?

Thanks! I'm sure I could refine the scape a bit more but I think I'm just going to leave it be for now.I think it looks great, you cleaned it up real nice.
I’m glad you went back and tried the aquascape again, it looks much better. I’d keep trying, personally.

I'll check to see what they might have at aquahas. But I may end up taking you up on taking some of the livestock. Idk yet.
