  1. The main thing that they said was that you have to make sure the ammonia stays at 2ppm and not more so I couldn't say unless u checked every day. I'm on day two checked every day it's been consistent. I'm following every single instruction they put out to really test if this stuff works and yes u can get ammonium nitrate anywhere I got it through them because it was free with the bottle of one and only. But it gives you a specific dosage to do to obtain what they say works with there product so I will keep it updated as I get to 8 days

  2. So I took a gamble, why not? I'm trying out dr.tims one and only including his ammonium chloride for the fishless cycle. Day two still have right in between 1.2-2ppm ammonia, used a bottle and half on a 150. I'm curious to see if anyone's done this and share your feed back! I used dry rock. Here a schedule that I am following and will post results as they come.b91812ee7271f8195ea85ddc527b3cd4.png

  4. So, you never answered the question about if you're dosing Kalkwasser. The white precipitate, if it's calcium carbonate, could come from abiotic precipitation caused by a kalkwasser overdose. However, all the bubbles would not be a symptom of that. Some bacterial films will generate a lot of gas. Some are stringy and some are filmy, and some are thick, gelatinous mats, and some remain suspended in the water column. There's really no "normal" presentation when it comes to bacteria. The algae die-off is yet another odd symptom. Bubbles on the algae and die off remind me of what happens when using hydrogen peroxide to combat algae. And, all the gas generation without loss of life is another wierd symptom.

    It sounds odd alright.

I did reply saying I'm not dosing anything but using a two part reactor of carbon and gfo

  6. After some research I think I have Dino in my tank along with HA. I the tanks about 5 months old started with dry rock and live sand from the bag I dip all my stuff and with my old tank I didn't have algae issues.

From what I heard it's terrible and I read up on 3% peroxide dipping and or raising my ph to 8.4. Can anyone help me out with this or any input as I read it can kill *&#@ and I think my big snail died because of the outbreak thanksb1a5be94c615e10493a17849a39118da.png3d8450bba98f42d47998979e383d845e.pngd6bc66c4cff9527f341abfad4d4676d3.pngd83e8ee99d821bb87d4cdedad6e5076e.png93cea832979a8ceca8046c8fc39e7aeb.png

  10. So I just picked up a new hydra and I went onto the website and put in a password for the system and it shoots me to a screen to log into the password and it's telling me the passwords incorrect and I know for sure it isn't. Does anyone know how to reset the password on the system not my account? Or what should I do ?
