  1. Most likely the cat box/ soiled areas and/or the combination of  black mold is to blame for NH3 spike. Ventilation is only a band aid. Get a UV light find the area and clean/ neutralize it. Remediate the mold (very important) and get a lid for the brute.

I find it interesting that no one has asked what the repercussions are regarding  the elevated NH3 level.

  2. A variety of coral vendors will be present. Some are club related or nationally known and some selected out-of-state coral vendors will be present as well.

C.M.A.S.'s Fragtoberfest 2017 encourages all of the reefing community to attend, especially WAMAS members! This is a public event.

Copps will have additional information in his informative presentation to share in the Parsons Auditorium. You do not want to miss it.  We are very happy to share with WAMAS a large venue footprint at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, in Laurel Md. which is easily accessible from all major roads near and far. Parking is free and ample. Free food will available while it lasts.  All proceeds will go to the Coral Restoration Foundation located in Florida in wake of the hurricane Irma. Please save the date-Saturday October 14th 1-5pm.

  3. Wrong forum to bash these guys and anyone else for that matter. The WAMAS community will call you out. Kyle is a good hard working guy. He is dedicatied endless hours to raising, breeding and shipping them healthy to the customer. Anything that is shipped to UPS holding facility should be picked up at the time of delivery. Period.

I would only delay pick up for: green star polyps and Kenya tree. That's about it.

  4. Thanks, John, to you and all the contributors that made this special today for us committed reefers.

Our hobby is challenging enough with it's own complexities. Yes, it does and can affect our personal circumstances. It Happens.

Thank you WAMAS! until next time...

    P.S.

They will get used to it.
