-
I'm glad it worked for you , I've got my fingers crossed
-
I've been using them for years , they are amazing for acrylic, just get the plan old original ones without any added stuff to them , I cut them in half and attach it to my mighty magnet works wonders

Starting my first day treating byropsis algea with fluconazole , been fighting this stuff for over a year , did the tech m for 2 months , all it did was slow it down , randomly saw a bunch of people having success using fluconazole so before I tear my tank down I'm gonna give this a try . For anyone battling this stuff you should check out fluconazole, stuff may be the miracle cure for this stuff , wish me luck I keep you posted

Just feed more , your tank sounds like it's starving

I run a vertex alpha 200 on my 300 gallon system , and all I gotta say is best skimmer I've ever seen in action , nothing pulls skimmate like that thing , I had a deltec 702 on it before and switched to the vertex , best move I've made yet

I have gotten some gems from them before only problem is you have to qt them first before they hit your tank , my best score was three rhomboids for 300 bucks , me and the son had to get them out of there big tank in the greenhouse , took us like an hour to catch them

Lowe's deff has it , you gotta look in the lighting section in the back of the store

I've got two 8 bulb ati powermodules above my 180 and love them , I keep them like 8 inches above the water , grows everything and the colors seem to be great , also my tank runs around 77 degrees , when I had 400s above it I couldnt keep the tank below 82 only downside is the bulb replacement every year
-
Yea they deff don't last very long , I slice mine in half like a piece of bread , turns one pad into two
-
Something in that 6ft range would be perfect , gives the fish plenty of room to swim around
-
Yea just make sure it's the original , I think there like 1.50 for two pads
-
inside the tank , Its all I use on my acrylic tank to get algae and stuff off the viewing panels .
-
If you haven't tried this yet to clean your glass or acrylic you have to try it works wonders , just make sure you get the original .
-
Same thing happened to me , I think you need to wash them first , not 100 percent on that

in General Discussion
Just a little update , I'm about to hit the 72 hour mark tonight and the bryopsis is turning white like it's about to die
