  2. ^ +1. Those are known for their high levels of palytoxin. Just be careful, especially when fragging. Also looks like a vermetid snail on the left side.

Thanks...won't be frag gin any time soon...should the vermited snail ..mean anything to me

  5. I use to have a 10 gallon tank with 2 clown fish and a damsel.  When i upgraded to a 90 gallon i transferred the 2 clowns to the 90 and left the damsel in the 10 gallon.  I want to use the ten gallon as a quarantine but I need the Damsel out.  Big box stores do not take fish back anymore and no on wants or even get a free damsel......or do they  .........any suggestions?

  7. Hello hope you guys can answer this for me.  When I test my tank water it seems to be close to 0ppm based on the API color chart (give or take  shade or 2).  However when I test my plain RODI water its  super crystal clear light golden yellow.  Is that the same reading I am expected to get when testing my aquarium water?

  8. Do any of you guys buy from there?  Is it an actual store or some ones house?  Is this a place I can just go to during business hours and purchase fish?  I communicate with them over email but the emails are far apart.

  9. If you plan to add sand, then that would be a good next step. Rinse it off really well so that your tank clears faster. I just added reef flakes (http://premiumaquatics.com/products/tropic-eden-reefflakes-aragonite-sand-30lb.html) to my 90g. Really nice stuff and worth the cost.

The type of coral you plan to keep is based on your lighting. You can probably add a few easy corals (e.g softies and zoas etc) if your light is reef capable. Adding fish should go slowly. I would greatly encourage a QT tank! I just lost 6 fish that were in a QT due to ich and likely an internal parasite. I'm glad I didn't introduce them to my DT. Lots of LFS in our area. Look at some of our sponsors. Have fun and go slowly.

so you are saying that you purchased 6 new fish and quarantined them first and they died?

How much flakes did you get for your 90?
