To me, every equipment have a date when it will malfunction. Less equipment and less demanding corals would be my way to have a successful reef tank if I don't have the time to do water changes. Lights, heater, wavemakers, and battery backup are things I would invest in.

I'm sorry, I don't know what that means.
Sorry, auto correct. Evaporation.

Any issues with corporations with that tank?
-
Do you think just doing regular water change is enough? Automatic water changes to me seems like adding more variables of things that can go wrong with the system.

I’m going back to freshwater planted tank for my 75 and will set up my cube for soft corals.

I am good. Moved to California and been pretty busy. No time to set up my tank. Been doing a little research on the new nanos coming out.

Nice build
-
good luck with the move.
-
is it battery operated?
-
nice video. does it have an option to take a snapshot once a day?
-
i would look into the filter cartridges to see where they can be purchased. the di cartridge is not see through either. i would rather invest in a good used one from a member.
-
cool, i was thinking about putting in a spinstream on my 24 gallon
-
for my stand i followed a diagram someone here posted. not sure if someone has done the same for a canopy and how would i make the doors for feeding and maintenance?
-
making sure i understand this. you leave your lights on for 15 hours a day?
-
lights came in. a lot more wiring than anticipated and the fans are pretty loud.
problem now is that family members are complaining that the lights are too bright.
either i move the tank to a different location or put on a canopy.
anyone have experience building one? i really dont want to move the tank again.
-
will you be replacing those lights on that 4 gallon?
-
what are the floats for in the back of the tank?
-
i seen a lot of people have good success with using regular everyday light bulbs.
-
warranty is 1 year from date of purchase

thanks.
one of my kessil a150 died this week. not bright at all in about 2 years of use.
planned on buying the photon48, but the shipping cost too much so i decided to purchase
the snakeeyes led quad 48" from aquatraders. i know it will probably be less reliable than the other
led lights out there, but i figured if a kessil can go out prematurely, then what am i actually paying
all that money for? the snakeeyes cost about the same as a new kessil a150 and it will be able to cover my entire tank.
besides, corals in my tank have not grown at all with the kessils other than the mushrooms.
new light should be here by christmas.
the yellow wrasse jumped out this week too. too bad i was not home to save it.
really surprised the cat didnt eat it.
-
finally finished the doors. didnt have much time to work on it and the color didnt match the stand. o well.
-
yellow wrasse finally came out of hiding after 3 days. it ate some of the frozen shrimp and roamed around the tank and went back to hiding at around 4pm. hopefully it will be less than 3 days until i see it again.

Jumped out?

Nice corals. What happened to the wrasse?
Multiple damsels in a nano tank
in New to the Hobby
I been away from the hobby for quite some time now and getting back into the hobby. I been doing some research on damsels and wondering if anyone had success with multiple damsels in a nano tank.
