  1. Before you buy and start building, do your research. The less money you have to spend, the more it makes sense to spend it in the right direction the first time. If you couldnt afford it the first time, how will you be able to afford to do it again? Shop around and be patient. Ill bet you find a t5 fixture that will fit your tank in days if you look hard enough. And the price will be right. Or if you want to go MH, they are all over the place

  2. Ok all: I have a question,

I am using a neptune Apex and the WXM controller for my MP-40 WEs in my 210. I decided to add two MP-10WEs to the rear of the tank. I am wondering if anyone is using a similar setup. If so, How are you configuring your rear pumps? I am happy with the profiles and configurations of the 40's, but I would love some input from someone who has configured rear pumps to work with the side pumps. Thanks in advance, Sonny

  3. Has anyone ever had this happen? I have had several zoas change colors due to placement relative to other zoas, but I have never had this happen before. Any comments would be appreciated. Please excuse my photography, my skills are weak at best.post-2632760-131626242561_thumb.jpg

  4. Thank you for the help. Based on the canopy I have now, if I mount the lumenarcs on top the bulbs should be 14-15" above the water. I hear what you are saying about the space for the VHO. Its going to be tight. I just never thought I was getting all the light I should have from the hamilton fixture.

  5. I have a quick question. Im looking for opinions and or facts. I am currently using a hamilton fixture (3X400W MH, 2X 160W VHO actinics) over my 220. 72X24X30. mostly SPS. I am going to change to lumenarc3 reflectors. My question is,based on anyones prior experience How high should I mount the Bulb to top of the water?

    Thank you in advance,

    Sonny
