almost looks like A. speciosa but im not the greatest on that IDing thing...
as said above would love a frag,
kinda reminds me of a 20k lokani too.
I'm available most weekends.
-
Nope but I wouldn't mind a frag, I like the growth form.
You got it.
-
Anyone know what this acro is called? I picked this up from my brother about 2 years ago as a 1 inch frag.

Growth rate between LEDs and T5s and settle the argument once and for all.

I've been there. Stopped by the summer. Place is similar to BRK in which they have koi fish also. Their saltwater fish and corals were overpriced, didn't look healthy. Their stock were very common, meaning Petco probably had better selections. Their lighting over the fish and corals are from the PAR38 bulbs mounted really high from the ceiling. Surprised any light reached the corals at all. It was very dark.

I start eating goldfish crackers in front of my clown. They don't like the sight of you eating an orange fish in front of them and leave you alone.

I have built the same type of denitrator, except for all the varying sizes of pvc tubes, at the end of my coil tubing, I made the water go through bioballs to grow the anaerobic bacteria before exiting back into my tank.

Tank is located in Sterling. No stand with it.

Selling for a friend who is getting out of the hobby before he even got a chance to start. Mods - let me know if this is not appropriate in this forum.
Oceanic 180 gallon bowfront tank. Cleaned with some muriatic acid solution. Overflows are on the 2 ends. Some damage to the center brace so if you know how to fix it, it's a good deal. $200

If I have any say in the matter, I prefer Jan to Ryan.
You don't. Ryan it is.
-
It's not that we don't want him. I think it's us being responsible members and we don't have a tank large enough.

son of a who bought my squammy.....that was gonna be an order tonight...just doh'
LOL! So you posted pictures of nice looking clams to a REEF club and wonder how you got sniped. To a REEF club! May I suggest the next time you see something nice on DD, you post it to a biker's club. They don't care nearly as much and you probably won't get sniped next time.

AquaC are good HOB skimmers. I have a Remora on my 29 gallon tank.

What is the benefit of dosing with vinegar? I've heard of dosing with vodka, hydrogen peroxide, but not vinegar. That's a new one.
-
Ryan - take into consideration that you would have to pay for shipping overnight if buying online. So that $.15 hermit is not really $.15 once you add shipping.
-
$367 per fixture, parts only.

See if anyone close by you already have salt premade and aged. If you added salt to your tank directly, there's a chemical reaction going on with your salt dissolving in the water. You'll need to do another water change with saltwater that's been premixed for at least 24 hours. Where are you located?

thank GOD cause i paid 1100 for 3 of them. i thought i was being screwed here is the other guy :0)
Stop doing that.

NOT Hardly! The crowd that only has time to check WAMAS on the weekends has not had a chance to read all the posts. So tomorrow night when folks are settling in to their third glass of wine and peanut butter and honey sandwich they are going to comment. And the comments will be alcohol induced and sticky!
Can't Wait!
Did the wine come in a box? Sticky from the peanut butter or sticky from the honey? I regret getting a 13 ft xmas tree. I hate lugging that thing out of the basement every year.
-
Not sure what situation you went through that was bad, we have had so few of them. Please PM me to refresh my memory. As far as knowing what we have we bust our butts to get the stocklist updated weekly, and I usually even post the link here on wamas, dont know what else I can do to tell you what we have.
John
Excellent point. I checked BRK's stocklist and saw they had a lawnmower blenny. I drove from Leesburg and bought it. And while I was there, I picked up a few knick knacks and a Mag 12 and drove home happy. In this case, I went online, click click click and saw what I wanted and got it.
Soooo....is this thread done yet?

My GSP took over my frogspawn base. I had to peel it off before it killed the frogspawn. My GSP was also starting to take over my favia. Took some bright DIY LED lights to kill the GSP.

I recently ordered a snowflake moray eel from Sean. It was a very nice size and the price was great! It's happily eating everything it can get a hold of and competing with my puffer for food. Thanks again Sean!

in General Discussion
I have blue Cree LEDs on my 90 and both blue and white LEDs on my 175 that I built myself. You're more than welcome to take a look.
