    Thank you all for stopping by! The food was fantastic - great salads, the cake was luscious, the dip was great - BUT I have to know who brought the chocolate chip-chunk cookies????? Those were my favorite - I am a chocoholic - I can never get enough chocolate! Please PM me if you made them or brought them - I have to find more!!

    For those who would like to come by - we are going to provide hot dogs and the fixings and sodas, please feel free to bring a side dish to share, or a dessert and if you'd like something other than sodas please feel free to bring that along as well. We are hoping for a nice day weather wise, we have plenty of room for a game of football, baseball or whatever the kids would like to play. We hope to see you all out here for a nice fall day in the country and of course, to see than tanks too!

    Guys - we are so sorry to have to reschedule our Tank Tour, previously scheduled for Aug. 24th. We will be changing it to Oct. and we will provide plenty of advanced notice so that everyone may be able to attend.

     

    We hope that we have not inconvienced anyone with this change.

    :blush: Guys - we are sorry but we have to postpone the Tank Tour which was scheduled for Aug. 24th....We are going to reschedule for a Saturday in October - we will give plenty of advanced notice so that we may have a great many of you able to attend. In hindsight - August is a busy month for most people - kids going off to school, last minute vacations etc. so we think Oct. will be the perfect time for everyone to come out to the country and see the Autumn foilage as well as our tanks and home. We hope that we haven't not caused anyone any inconvience and that you all will understand and come out in October!

    Maureen, Jon & Kathryn Lazar will be attending (with mexican layer dip and chips unless I hear otherwise from you).

     

    So excited to see your 450 obsession and 360 predator tank (okay, less excited about the eels to be honest).

     

    Let me know if there's anything else we can do (chairs, tables, etc).

    Very Good idea Maureen - I hadn't thought about it but if everyone has lawn chairs it would be a great idea to bring them - we have 4 or 5 and a table outback.

     

    For anyone who would like please feel free to BYOB - we will provide sodas, water etc. :cheers:

     

    Maureen the mexican dip is all yours to bring - I'll put you on the "list" - Thanks again for your help!!

    So glad someone else is bringing teenagers...... how old are the boys???? We're bringing our 16 year old daughter. She's still on crutches from knee surgery and would love to have someone to hang out with when she's finished helping the special guest, Holly's clown husband~!

    Oh boy - I am so sorry to hear about her knee - I went thru that in Sept 06 and I'm still not 100% but then again given my age no wonder...I wish her all the best with that! The boys are Josh 17 and Matt 15....I'm not sure if Jessi 6 is going to come with us or not just yet....sort of a long story.....I am looking forward to seeing you guys on Sunday!

    Was thinking about a 9 layer Mexican-style dip I make with tortilla chips, a spinach dip w/bread bowl, fruit salad, veggie tray with dip, or something for dessert if you'd like.

     

    Would love to help out, let me know once you get your arms around number of people coming and your menu, no hurry.

    Hey Maureen - THanks for the offer......Is there anything specific you would like to bring? We will have all sorts of sodas, water etc. if you'd like adult beverages please feel free to BYOB! If there is something you'd like to bring let me know - if not that's cool too - I really haven't thought about it just yet.....

    the eels shouldnt be too hard either if you can entice them with food inside the container then shut it. Considering the teeth involved and the potential stress, that may avoid you/your wife a few painful bites.

     

    OK - Honey I've decided that I am the better one with the camera - SOOOOOO I'll be doing the filming and YOU can do the fishing!!! lol :lol2:

     

    Thanks for giving me the heads up on missing out on the painful bites - otherwise he might have actually talked me into the fishing end of this deal! ;)

    LOL....I'm sure it will be fun to watch...I was laughed at trying to catch some damsels out of my tank...with larger fish that can "bite" I have a feeling it will be AFV quality.

     

    Just kidding...

    Whats the stock list for the 360? The 450 looks great!

     

    I'll let Terry give you the list, as I know that I will misspell or worse yet misstate one of the fishies who will be in the 360.

     

    Terry seems to think that my fishing for the fish in the 150 is going to be funny - we'll see about that - I told him I would catch all but the eel - to much like a snake for me!! :scuba:
