  1. Well, I pulled the trigger today(in a BIG way) on a new tank! I ordered a Manta Ray 18 with high clarity glass & black seams from Chris over at picoaquariums.com. To add to the bill, I ordered one of his fuge lights, an AI nano w/ controller, a 32mm skimmer from Gnome Glass, and some 2 part CA/Alk for dosing'. I added a few things that I already owned as well...A Spectrapure LMIII + extra pump,TLF KW Reactor 300, Tunze ATO & BRS dual reactor. Everything should be here in a few weeks & I'll get started. I am stoked about this build! It should turn out to be one pimped out nano! Pics coming soon!!!

    Thanks,

    Russ

  2. Is there someone locally that builds stands? Or, does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find a small stand at a good price? I am getting a new tank that is 18"x18"x9", and I can't find a stand at a decent price.

    Thanks,

    Russ

or you can make an offer.

    Thanks,

    Russ

  4. Well, the death list so far has been: a green slimer, a blue tipped efflo, a blue stag, a teal stag, & a nice sized green birdsnest. I did a water change & hopefully everything that is left will get happy again soon.

    Thanks,

    Russ

  5. So we got back from our trip to Mississippi & were welcomed with the smell of death from my aquarium. My idiot brother in law turned off the ATO for a week! So of course the ATO bucket was full every time I asked him to check it. But, when I got home my 34 gallon tank was about 3 gallons light. Should I do a massive water change & pray? or what? Any suggestions would be great!

    Thanks,

    Russ

  6. Here are some pics all set up! It always scares me to death when I set up a new tank. I don't want a flood or worse in my kitchen!

It has alot of softies in it for now. I need to get rid of them. So, if y'all know anyone who wants some let me know. It's mostly leathers.

    Enjoy!
