I have an older model Typhoon III Ro unit that I haven't used for a few years. I was wondering if replacing the fittings would help get this unit back on it's proverbial feet. I have replacement media for it already, I'm just concerned with replacing the hoses and connectors. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I know that the ball valves at the Bethesda Home Depot are on the other side of the fittings in the next aisle with all the other types of valves.

I work down the street from that one...Thanks for the heads up...I'll venture that way before heading home.

That's pretty strange..I have been to 2 home depots and 2 lowes and none of them had ball valves. I may have to venture out further

Is there a local store that carries a selection of ball valves? I'm looking for a 1 inch ball valve...hoping to pick up tomorrow

I'm liking the Trigger System sumps, but I think we have some locals that design pretty nice custom sumps as well.
I've checked out a few of the trigger system sumps...they are pretty much what I am looking for.

I am looking for suggestions for a new sump for my 75 gallon reef...I'd like for it to be at least 30 inches long and it must include a refugium. I would prefer to buy locally as opposed to having one shipped, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2 1/2 inch clarki clown that is free to a school tank. He has been residing in my fuge for the past month or so. I will try to get a pic when my fuge light comes on in a few.

I am in need of a new heater for my 75 gallon. With the sump I have about 100 gallons total system volume, but wouldn't mind a heater that can handle a 150 gallon tank. I was wondering what brands and wattage was preferred by other members, I was using a Won brothers heater before. Any help is appreciated.

the same thing happened to me when setting up my frag tank, it sucks but all you can do is start over and do it better than the first time.

Current was the only company that I could find that makes 18" bulbs, there aren't any other choices that I know of for that length.
-
If you have koralia's it may be the powerhead introducing electricity to your tank, you can start by unplugging them and putting your finger back into the water to see if there is still a current.
