Tell him you'll pick up the green eyed girl (and a free make up frag) for him if he gives you the extra kisses
I really don't like the sound of that.. but yes I will give you the extra zoas for your drive and then we will have to trade some other stuff

I've recently picked up some rarer chalices and montis and I want to know what the ideal placement is for them in my tank. Do they like low flow or high flow, same for lighting? what do you feed your chalices?? any extra advice about keeping them? These are def the most expensive corals in my tank right now and i'd really like them to live
TIA

I was looking at the tank and the water was not level. I would fix this problem before it gets out of hand. I also had that same style overflow box. It works great until the hair algea grows in the tube. Then you have to make sure you remove the air bubble in the tube too keep the system from losing suction. You might want to think about drilling the tank and placing a bulkhead. It would save you a huge headache. Other than that your rock.....well rocks.LOL I wish I gone your route on buying rick when I first started my 55.
cover your u tubes with tin foil or something else like that and you won't have a problem. I would also level out the tank now before it becomes a real problem.

anything to eat/kill them??

Just like it says... I have these little white sponges poping up all over my tank. I want to know if there is anything I can do about them other than removing them manually which is a pain! I can get a picture if that helps but I figure someone has to know what they are and what I can do about them...

Don't waste time posting, fill that thing up.
I second this chris
i'm excited to see what you have in store for that glass box

Beautiful tank! I really like your frag shelves too.
Only thing is, it looks like you need to get that puffer back into the water before he dries out...
he scares the fish so they stay in the tank

Is this tank gonna be on carpet? the reason I ask is because my stand is almost the same size except shorter and I have a sump and even with that it is a little unsturdy on the carpet in my room. Just a thought

I have a ton of them along the back of my rockwork and they continue to pop up here and there, very cool!

this all sounds like way more work than I would be willing to put up with... I admire your patience! hopefully it all works out for you
-
I would first put your location and i'm sure you will be able to find people in your area to get you started with some easy to care for corals

I have to say I'm impressed... It will be intersting to see how all the super glue and cement holds up over time but heck of a setup on that budget.
