I have 10 holes in my tank..... when the amount of holes increase so does the thickness of the glass...... I wouldn't do 6-8 holes in the bottom of a tank unless it's custom made with 3/4 inch glass..

John.... Stop working while on VACATION.....

Antiguan
I have the same tank.... If you would like to come see the stand I built you are welcome to come over. I have no center brace.

If you went to MACNA you probably saw my 85# rock that I brought back. It's going to be my center piece in my new tank. It's been sitting in the Garage since then but it will soon be wet..
As far as I can MARCOS rocks are A++

I couldn't find anything online about them.

I make my RODI water from well water and I am wondering if my well has any weird trace elements in it.
Does anyone know of a water testing companies that would test my water for all kinds of crazy stuff?

For what it's worth:
I've seen these and other variants for sale at Roozen's before (cheap). On more than one occasion, I've seen someone tell Larry they wanted to buy one (because they are pretty), and instead of just bagging it up, Larry has told them that they will starve after a couple months unless you contact a special sponge supplier and find just the right sponge they will eat. After hearing that, I've never seen someone walk away with one.
tim
I got them for free so I can't complain.........

Found this on the sea slug forum. Seems like it eats the blue sponges in particular from some of the related posts. Might want to see what Johnny can bring back from Florida with him!
I saw the same article... We shall see

I saw them on sponge in the tank so I am hoping for the best. From what I have read they have a very short life in the wild as it is. I don't expect it to be around for a long time anyways.

Great! Any help we can get would be greatly appreciated........
Is anyone else in WAMAS picking up a tank on Sunday??
-
Okay - that is normally my time to visit BRK for the week; BUT - I don't think I'll be going this Sunday.
No promises - but I will write myself a note; and the fact that I would normally be going to BRK should be a good reminder to look at the note. Supposed to be great weather.
And you can repay the favor when I go pick up Rebecca's 225-gallon tank.
