WAMAS

Tank Of The Month

September 2006

Chris Thomas (143gadgets)

Congratulations!
Now you have some questions to answer!

Who was responsible for getting you into the hobby?

Mainly my cousin Dwayne and Hugh. They had made a comment about having a tank as a headboard. I thought that sounded like a good idea. I started out with a cichlid, but at the urging of my lfs, I moved up to a 40 gallon breeder with a clownfish and a powderbrown tang. From there, I bought a 55g at Wally's and made it into a full on headboard and filled it with live rock, a couple of tangs, damsels, stuff like that. Then the guys at Totally Fish continued my education by teaching me about lights. Then I bought live rock from this guy who said “You should check out WAMAS". The rest is History!

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Besides the fact he is one of the most influential men in the last 100 years, is there any particular reason why you chose him?

I would love the chance to listen to him talk about some of his experiences. Then I could gain some knowledge and insight into his life.

I am currently using a Deltec AP701.
