Origami April 6, 2019 Share April 6, 2019 You know, this reminds me very much of what Joe Yaiullo showed us of what he was doing in the Long Island Aquarium. If you recall the pictures from that meeting, he took really small frags from a mother colony and arrayed them out on the rock surface where he wanted a larger colony to grow. The frags all grew in parallel, gradually spreading (encrusting) until the areas contacted one another, and then the colony shot up from all over the encrusted area.
