ImGoingCoastal March 25, 2019 Share March 25, 2019 Typical chinese black box. They will grow nearly anything on an appropriate sized tank but don't expect the quality of the top level equipment. They usually only have two channels, one that controls blues and one that controls whites (and any other colors). These channels are either on or off. There are some companies that make upgraded versions that have timers, remotes, and can do sunrise/sunset.In my opinion, they are awesome value for the money but there is definitely better out there.-A-a-ron

menglish March 25, 2019 Share March 25, 2019 I have never used them, but i have seen reports where the PAR output is very high, up to 900-1000. So you will need to place them high of the tank to cut down on the PAR. Lots of people have good experience with them, but as stated above, they can burn out very fast.
