sr-reef March 5, 2019 Share March 5, 2019 I've been keeping rare freshwater fish for years, and had a saltwater fish only tank a while back. Currently i have 3 other freshwater tanks, with Geophagus, Angels, L# Plecos, and some other cool fish. This year, i decided it was time to try a new project, a reef. The tank was setup in the beginning of February, and cycled fairly quickly. I had a blue damsel in there for a couple weeks just to make sure parameters are stable. It will be a learning process so stay tuned for updates and any advice is always appreciated Tank/equipment: standard 29 gallon tank Seachem tidal 55 with filter floss, Chemipure Blue, and Seachem Matrix 2x Kessil A160we with spectral controller Aqueon 150w Heater Jebao Wavemaker 25 lbs of live rock 20lbs of arag alive sand Red sea Coral pro salt Cleanup crew: 1 astrea snail 2 margarita snils 2 red leg hermit 1 scarlet hermit Coral: 1 tiny frag of Dreamweaver? Zoa's Fish: none yet Any suggestions on lighting schedule and a cost effective ATO system? i was looking at a diy approach. Just wondering everyone uses on a such a small tank
