realypk March 4, 2019 Share March 4, 2019 (edited) So i moved my acan to a spot i thought theyd like, 3 heads. Woke up and one of the heads detached, looks like waterflow was too high. Moved em back and now they are happy.... but now i have one jelly acan head that looks in perfect condition just tumble weeding arround the tank. Detached from a skeleton the thing looks kinda like an anemone just with a less sticky foot. Should I try to glue it to something or put it in a shotglass and let it reform a new skeleton? I immagine slime may make glueing hard. Edited March 4, 2019 by realypk
A.ocellaris March 4, 2019 Share March 4, 2019 I would use the the shotglass idea.. but it will take time!
bues0022 March 5, 2019 Share March 5, 2019 Is there anything besides jelly to glue to? Anything left on it? Shot glass isn't a bad idea - I'd toss some sand or fine rubble in the bottom to hopefully give it something to grow onto as it tries to recover. I'd keep feeding it to help give it lots of energy if it were me.
