PRinFairfax December 29, 2018 Share December 29, 2018 What brand of Silicone is best to glue my sump panels/dividers in place? Can it be bought locally? Anybody have some they could sell me?
tygger December 29, 2018 Share December 29, 2018 GE Silicone I (without mold inhibitors) is fine to use. Can be found at Home Depot / Lowes. I will say that over time, the silicone becomes milky white. Not sure if the comparable Aqueon silicone sealant stays clear over time, but it generally cost 2x more. malacoda January 1, 2019 Share January 1, 2019 Here's another as well. I know the HD in Sterling stocked it about 3 years ago when I used a 40b to make a DIY sump, but haven't looked recently: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DAP-Silicone-2-8-oz-Clear-Aquarium-Sealant-00755/100128841 Package specifically states 100% silicone that is safe for aquarium use and it worked fine for me.
