CallMeJus November 7, 2018 Share November 7, 2018 Hey everyone, I’ve got a 44Gal Mixed Reef that currently has a pair Clownfish and a Tailspot Blenny. I need ideas for a special fish to be the centerpiece. Preferably something Reef friendly (but open to other ideas) and a max budget of $200 give or take a few bucks. ImGoingCoastal November 7, 2018 Share November 7, 2018 I'm a fan of dwarf anglefish but some may not mic well with reefs.A leopard wrasse would be pretty sweet! If you have the husbandry for it... A Mandarin definitely gives the wow factor.-A-a-ron
mari.harutunian November 7, 2018 Share November 7, 2018 Maybe a group of cardinals plus a colorful reef safe angel like the Pygmy angel. Personally like many small fish over one big one but you could check out divers den for ideas of a single or pair. YHSublime November 8, 2018 Share November 8, 2018 What’s stopping you from getting a pair of clownfish and calling it a day?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
rt502 November 8, 2018 Share November 8, 2018 If you don't have a bunch of sps, a Toby or valentini puffer would be fun. They're not expensive, relatively, and they have a ton of personality. I had a Toby for years that acted like a puppy. If not, there are some really nice, more expensive fairy wrasses that would be nice if you have a decent amount of rock work.
