Spot treating algae with peroxide

Recommended Posts

These Zoas I just got have a bit of dark algae that I think have them stressed. Not all of them open so I was considering helping them out but removing algae by spot treating with peroxide! Any experience?

Yep, just do a 50% saltwater 50% hp, swish the zoos and watch them bubble. I used a revive dip afterwards. Never lost a zoa this way, but never tried a high end one either. YMMV

You can also use an old tooth brush and brush them off

I’m guessing you are very gentle when you brush? I have a soft pipe cleaning brush that I like to use but scared to put and pressure on the Zoas
