Best place to buy 10~15 clowns?

Planning on rebooting my tank as a clownfish/anemone tank when I move so I figured I'll start planning now. Does anyone have recommendations on where I can get multiple juvenile clowns fairly cheap compared to normal? I'd like black clowns but nothing super specific or not looking to be super strict on grades.

I have a good buddy in Chicago who breeds clowns, Mitch May, his company is Booyah’s Reef. He breeds basically every kind of perc/O designers and some of his own fancy ones too. I’m sure he’d set you up. 708-715-0424 tell him Ryan sent you over and say hi for me!

ORA sells them through liveaquaria too. Drop shipped straight from the ORA facility in Florida to your home…

( or even better, to the UPS customer service near your home if you do “hold for pickup”. Ships out the night before, and arrives at the UPS facility by 8:30 in the morning)

Good deal, thanks! No way to guarantee that they come from the same clutch right?

If you’re OK paying for shipping, Mitch can guarantee they all come from the same clutch. If nothing else, call and ask a bunch of questions - he’s a wealth of information about all things clowns. He’d be able to help you figure out the best way to go about doing it.

Yeah thanks for the tip, will definitely get in touch with him.

How are his prices? Hopefully he can give me a slight discount for buying a bunch together

I’m not sure what all his pricing is for a bunch (I’d assume it depends on which variety you want) , but I’d imagine he would work with you. He’s a good guy.

I would think ORA could give you a group from the same cluch if you call the Liveaquaria Florida office.

Beyond Mitch, one of the guys at BRS breeds clowns as a side job and has a few groups available:

BRS's latest video on their harem tank is excellent too, IMO.

I just saw a bunch of black ocellaris swimming together on aquatic creations. My guess is that they came from the same batch.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll check them out as

Yeah I want to replicate that clown harem tank as well! Let me know who you end up going with. I'm probably a good six months away from buying the fish, but good to know!!!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll check them out as
