Newbie012000 February 23, 2018 Share February 23, 2018 I recently drilled a piece of rock with a diamond hole saw bit. The bit was red and as I drilled and added water to keep the bit cool the paint was removed and resulted in a pick liquid forming on the rock. I tried bleaching a small area but did not soak the piece in bleach yet. there is still a slight pink coloration to the area and I was wondering it it perhaps peaches into the rock or am I just being paranoid. I am about to start cooking all of my dry rock this weekend and am considering just throwing it in with the rest of the rock. Below are pics. What are your thoughts? Thx in advance for your feedback
Newbie012000 February 23, 2018 Author Share February 23, 2018 Sorry for the grammatical errors with auto spell. I was wondering if it LEACHED in the rock perhaps.
Big Country February 23, 2018 Share February 23, 2018 Doubt it's anything to be worried about, just rinse it good and throw it into the soaker. Liverock drills easily with just a standard drill bit, no need on wasting money on a diamond hole saw
