Wow yours are frisky. I don’t think I have ever spotted the eggs.

It's entirely possible that not it's not their eggs, there are other snails in there. BUT, I added them a few days ago, and then that happened, so just doing fuzzy math.

Now I'm of the belief that this red montipora could survive in a toilet bowl, but when i first picked up this piece or rock, I spotted the zoanthids under the blues. I kept this piece in the DT, and it's monti has gone from white (what I thought was dead) all the way to a brilliant red, this picture was a few weeks ago.

Nice, you've added corals.  Seems like it's coming along well!

Yeah, I started moving things over. The biggest challenge I'm facing right now is red cyano. This is partly because I've been overfeeding the corals just to keep up a "balance" of some waste towards building up a bioload, but mostly because of flow. Being a peninsula, I didn't want to put powerheads anywhere other than the back. This is a problem with placement, as the MP10 outer piece juts out too far into the drain or return, leaving only about 3 inches of play under the return tubing. What I'm left with is a whirlpool like effect that is fantastic, but blowing the sand back in the front of the tank. I might have to resort to a low profile alternative, but I'm not sure there is one.

I'll take some proper photos and post up once I'm done cleaning up, brewed an imperial cream ale tonight and cleaned some kegs, so it's a bit messy.

It's hard to get the true colors of this glorious piece, but the newest addition is a Golden Torch colony:

The last golden torch I had spawned in my 150. You can read about that here. I successfully raised about 4-5 in the tank, hopefully with good husbandry I might get it to happen again!

Looks awesome.  Love the tank profile.  Will follow with interest!

Thank you, sir.

Came into a bit of a mess last night. Found that my ato pump wasn't kicking in, and the water level was super low. Turned it on, dumped all the water back in until my salinity matched up, as I had to rush out for work. Came back and found my ATO container filled, overflowed a bit, and the tank pumping bubbles again.

Turns out I was starting a siphon, I had the ato return going into the overflow box, and it had suctioned out the same amount of water that would drop about halfway down the return tube, aprox 3 gallons. Quickly dried everything up, returned water to the tank, remounted ATO return into the sump, breathed a sigh of relief everything was fine.

There will be some traveling for me in 2018, I'm wondering if I should invest in an Apex, or a trained tank sitter, or both.

Looks great....What happened to getting the puffer? You are gonna run out of space quickly. I think you have more corals then i do :)

Thanks! I was looking for something remotely qt'd, had been looking for Plats, they popped up, and I pulled the trigger. The puffer I was looking at sold, quick

And the dead on DD!

Yes, I have a problem. Now to get it growing, see if I'll be able to keep it all.

Very nice zoas. Whats the name of the first one?

I believe they are called Pink Galaxies. I've also seen them called Pink Nebulas. They are commonly confused with Space Monsters (SM will have a very bright white mouth.) They are also similar to the Strawberry Wines, which are the blurry 3rd pic down.

Here is another blurry shot of my Space Monsters with a red leg hermit:

That is just some of what I'm growing out above. I believe in a year I'll have to thin the herd between all the SPS and the zoas, so far most of the are enjoying very high light.
