Coco worm during a cycle?

I tested for ammonia and it is barely registering as present. majority of livestock I have is in my 2nd tank, moved this guy over and he doesn't seem to care about being in there so I left him. 3 days and he is happy as a worm. aside from the unsightly algae the tank is stable enough for inverts, I have 6 bumblebee snails, 6 astreas snails, 1 turbo, 1 scarlet hermit crab. everyone is eating and constantly on the move. I'm feeding the tank some pellets and mysis shrimp, the bumblebee snails and hermit eat the shrimps while the pellets is consumed by astreas and turbo.

it's in front of my kitchen sink, and I work from home so I'm always looking at the health of the system. making changes on the fly, which includes water changes (2 gallons every weekend) the water changes on this new tank is very hand offs. or should I say "Hands OUT" I have a drain valve which drains the rear chamber (roughly 2 gallons) and I refill via the rear overflow compartment. That way I have my hands completely out of this tank. side note, with me having a compromised immune system it was important in the new tank design to accommodate simple tank maintenance which reduced the chances of scratching my hands on coral sand or rocks that could potentially result in a life threatening bacterial infection. so with that in mind I do have the long rubber gloves but the drain port is super convenient.
