Jar pico

I'm bored. I think I'm gonna try a jar pico. No fish. Just GSP and Xenia since their low light. Maybe a micro hermit or two. I have a tiny 92GPH pump which will probably heat the water enough to run without a heater. And I can lower the output. I also have a 65k Grow clip lamp and blue strip lights til I get a better light.

But which jar hmm. How would I hide the pump wire because I wanna put it in the center of the dining room table with a 360° view.

I don't think you can drill thin hand blown glass. To stick a wire thru the bottom then silicone shut. These jars are 3 gallons according to the sticker. That's pretty much what I was working with in the fluval edge because of the rock and sand. Plus I had fish in there I think I can handle a coral only jar. WC it with my main tank water for nitrates for the softies. Weekly zooplankton dose. My mind is racing lol

I've considered doing something similar but it wont happen any time soon.

Looking forward to see how this project unfold.

Enjoy!
