nextlevel808 October 10, 2015 Share October 10, 2015 I'm wondering what test kits everyone uses and why? Especially looking for Kh (Alk), Cal, Mag, Po4 and No3. I'm using Red Sea now but haven't been happy with them.

nextlevel808 October 11, 2015 Author Share October 11, 2015 +1 along with Apex probes What apex probes do you use as well? Also I'm looking into Hanna since I use RedSea now. I think I've heard the Hanna Cal tester has had mixed reviews most of them bad have others here had problems.
Reefer_Madness October 11, 2015 Share October 11, 2015 Apex probes I use are pH, ORP, Temperature, and Salinity. Hanna Testers I use are Alk, UL Phosphate, and Calcium. The Calcium tester is the only Hanna tester that takes some brains and accuracy on the testers part. I have had good luck with it.

FirstContact October 16, 2015 Share October 16, 2015 Salifert makes great test kits. Used them for a long time. Last couple of years been using Hanna and Red Sea. Just got tired of reading the tiny syringe numbers. Red Sea uses syringes too, but find the numbers a little larger and they don't wear off the syringe. Also like using glass instead of plastic. nextlevel808 October 17, 2015 Author Share October 17, 2015 Well let's see what kind of results I get now and compare them all. Might even send water out to lab and see which is most accurate.
