Led and sps

I ran halide t5 comBo for 3 years. I switched to led about a year ago. My growth has never been better sps and palys. Sps color is great but it takes longer to color up. Palys obviously the color is better but I do get some morphing. I will never go back to halides.

O and I have 2 ocean revive t247 and I d120 over a 120 gallon tank. I think in total I spent 300$ in lights. The ocean revives are a great bang for your buck with built on timers and easy dimming to the 1%

Chuchelli uses DIY leds over his system. I'm more of a t5 person myself but his sps colored up under his system. Maybe its the height and how his lights are tilted a bit but I always hope on his for sale thread.

My sps grow great and color well under LED.

Pros: cheap power cost and no bulb replacement cost.

Cons: more algae growth on glass, needs regular cleaning the keep looking pristine.
