edress714 August 30, 2014 August 30, 2014 I got 4 new corals. They all are glued to a plug. How do I remove it from the plug? I know how to glue it on but how do I remove it from the plug. Thanks
surf&turf August 30, 2014 August 30, 2014 If they are freshly glued, just twist a little, should pop right off.
edress714 August 30, 2014 Author August 30, 2014 They arent. Got them from a shop. If I'm able to break them off the plug what about the glue that's left on the frag. Take that off to and put fresh glue?
edress714 August 30, 2014 Author August 30, 2014 ThereS also tiny tiny little bugs crawling around the plug where the glue is
DuffyGeos August 30, 2014 August 30, 2014 What kind of bugs? white, red, long shape, or are they roundish? What type of coral? Do you have anything to dip the corals in before you put them in your tank?
edress714 August 30, 2014 Author August 30, 2014 Long skinny shrimp colored. I have the frags at the bottom right now. A zoa, mushrooms and a 4th I forgit the name of.
DuffyGeos August 30, 2014 August 30, 2014 You already have them in your tank? Is the 4th a hard coral or a soft coral?
DuffyGeos August 30, 2014 August 30, 2014 Right now I would probably just leave them since they have been through some stress in transportation, also they are already in your tank, so a little late to dip them. Then you can just leave the glue on them, you might do more damage then good trying to get the glue off.
edress714 August 30, 2014 Author August 30, 2014 Ok I was thinking of breaking off the bottom piece and gluing the round part of the plug to the rock and letting their growth cover the plug
