dmatt56 March 20, 2014 Share March 20, 2014 Hello everyone, My 3 year old Swissguard Basslet disappeared on Feb. 2, 2014. I thought s/he died. Well, today it REAPPEARS!!?!?!?!!?! How did that happen? It's been gone for almost 6 weeks! What a surprise. Do you think it jumped back in the tank from the overflow? Do fish hibernate? S/he looks fat and healthy. Anxious to hear your thoughts.... dmatt56 March 21, 2014 Author Share March 21, 2014 But the odd thing is he's an open water swimmer. Regardless, glad he's okay! Today's Fish count 21 + 1! Matt
Hilary March 21, 2014 Share March 21, 2014 That's great news! Maybe spooked and was hiding in your rock work? I thought mine was gone - turned out it was living in the overflow.
dmatt56 March 21, 2014 Author Share March 21, 2014 I'm guessing he was in the overflow too.
Hilary March 21, 2014 Share March 21, 2014 You're lucky it jumped back out! I ended up flushing mine down into the sump and now can't catch it without taking everything out of the sump, so have a beautiful little fish living where I never get to see it.
