javelin911 January 4, 2014 Author Share January 4, 2014 (edited) A difficult picture showing sump area on right (need tank), and on the left is a tank for frags/refug A long board to put the sump on (17' wide, but 6' long) (water heater next to it will need a little protection probably so i don't rust it away) Future Frag/Refug Edited January 4, 2014 by javelin911
YHSublime January 4, 2014 Share January 4, 2014 Looking good, look forward to watching it grow. I wish I made room for a frag tank. Even maybe space in my sump for something like that. Oh well, next time.

tomtom2245 January 27, 2014 Share January 27, 2014 That's quite the plumbing contraption for the return. If I were you, I would rethink the coast to coast overflow. I have one on my 40B and it takes up a decent amount of space depending on how you do it. Mine is used in conjunction with a bean-animal overflow system. The overflow works like a dream but when you account for the elbows needed for the BA overflow, the overflow box pushes out about 5-6" into the tank. Now if you did one on the far right or left of the tank, that went the entire length of the side of the tank as opposed to one that went along the back wall, then I think you would be good. Just some thoughts.
javelin911 March 11, 2014 Author Share March 11, 2014 Been a bit since I updated this. I received my overflows and now I need to drill for them. Hopefully I can get that done in the next week. I am in the process of sanding and painting the stand. I Just got my sump! Custom 5' long and 17 inches wide due to the space I have for it. The only issue is I forgot to mention which direction it would be flowing, so the clear pane is against the wall :( oops. Not really a big deal. Also got the RODI up and running Frag tank/refug is coming along (bit of a mess due to the temp equipment) The rock will end up in the large tank to help seed it. OldReefer March 11, 2014 Share March 11, 2014 Looking really good. Love the plumbing and the sump. Let me know if you need to borrow any odds and ends while you cook the rock and quarantine. I have my system totally broken down, and I have a small warehouse of pumps, heaters, power heads, lights etc.

javelin911 April 13, 2014 Author Share April 13, 2014 My electronics Wall - just over the sump The frame for my IT2040 lights - from eztube.com Here is the frame put together with a single light on it (there will be 3 when I get the other 2 from Marco) lights sit in the frame very well: Here is the Cerameco rock inside the VERY CLOUDY tank (Just added SAND). Doesn't matter how much you rinse, it always seems to be a mess.
