Alternate way to link to an image in your WAMAS gallery.

Step 1: From inside your gallery, copy the Image Link to your clip board.

Step 2: From inside your post, click on the Insert image icon.

Step 3: Paste the image link from your clipboard into the Insert Image pop up. Click OK.

Step 4: Your gallery image reference is now inserted into the post.

Detailed Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: From inside your gallery, click on the image whose link you wish to reference. From the Options button, select Share Links. Copy the Image Link to your clip board.

Step 3: Paste the image link from your clipboard into the pop up. Click OK. Note that the only thing this step really does is to embed the html link between the img (img and /img) tags. You can do this manually, too.

Step 4: Your gallery image reference is now inserted into the post.

And, you can also insert an image from Photobucket, too. Copy this "Direct" link to your image from Photobucket. Photobucket has evolved over the years, so your screen may not look the same. But the bottom line is to copy and paste the direct image link into your posts. This process works for other photo services, too.

Click on the "Image" icon in your post editing area (it looks like a picture) and paste the Photobucket link into the popup.

How to embed a YouTube video in your forum post - three steps to success. It boils down to this:

1) Copy the Video URL from the top your browser screen. It'll be either an http: or https: link. Both will work.
2) Paste it directly into your post. No tags are needed. The parser should recognize the syntax.

Note: The link syntax is very important. Double check before you copy it. One part to look for is the "watch?v=xxxxxx" at the end. After recognizing the front end of the URL, it extracts this back end and generates the code to embed your video. If the syntax isn't right, then it won't embed.

Done.
