dbartco April 11, 2011 Share April 11, 2011 "What is it?" Since 2005, every two years TONMO.com members and staff get together for a day or two of intense cephalopod discussion and socializing. We call it TONMOCON, and we hope you can join the next one! Details from past evens can be found in the links below, and also in our TONMOCON forum. "What are these 'cephalopods'?" Octopus, cuttlefish, and nautilus. TONMO focuses on cephalopod husbandry in the aquaria. "Where will it be?" Washington Marriott Wardman Park 2660 Woodley Road NW Washington, District Of Columbia 20008 USA "What will it cost me?" We are working on the cost for WAMAS members. At MOST, there will be a nominal fee of $10 for the room rental. This cost is for WAMAS members only and is below TONMO members cost. (shhhhh, don't tell!). "Will there be National Zoo involvment?" Absolutely. We have plans to include a social at the invert house at the zoo (probably Sat night. Details TBD). The may be some NADC involvement as well. What is the schedule?" We have 3 speakers lined up with more to be added. So far, Steve O'SHea, Wendy Williams, and Rich Ross (from the Steinhart Aquarium in San Fran) have been confirmed.
